Dr. Jordan Bernt Peterson born in 1962, is a Canadian clinical psychologist, social commentator, scholar, and author.
In 1999, he published his first book, “Maps of Meaning: The Architecture of Belief”, which became the basis for many of his subsequent lectures on psychology, mythology, religion, literature, philosophy, and neuroscience to analyze systems of belief and meaning.
In 2018, Dr. Peterson published his second book, “12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos”. Promoted by a world tour, it became a bestseller in several countries.
Having read the "12 Rules" several times, I strongly recommend it to readers everywhere ~ especially parents.
Considering Dr. Peterson, a beacon of light in a world clamoring and lost in darkness, the attached video is exemplary of his teachings.
Some of my personal favorites:
° Always tell the Truth.
° Plan & work diligently to maintain the romance in your relationship.
° Make at least 1 thing better every single place you go.
° Work as hard as you possibly can on just 1 thing, and see what happens.
° Treat yourself as if you are someone you are responsible for helping.
° Be precise in your speech.
° Don’t hide unwanted things in the fog.
° Be grateful in spite of your suffering.
